#Showbiz: I'm sorry, says Aliff Syukri on sharing wife in labour video

KUALA LUMPUR: Following the uneasiness aired by Netizens over the shared video of his wife in labour recently, Datuk Seri Aliff Syukri Kamarzaman has stepped forward to apologise for his action.

In a posting he uploaded earlier today, Aliff, 30, he apologised to those who thought that his postings had crossed the line.

He explained: “sy tak boleh puaskan hati org dan saya mohon maaf.. jika ada yg x suka apa2 yg saya post sebelum ni...niat saya nak berkongsi saat seorang ibu melahirkan anak dan betapa susahnya apa yg mereka lalui....supaya suami2 lebih menghargai isteri yg melahirkan zuriat mereka......” (I cannot please everyone and if my postings had offended anyone, I’d like to apologise for my actions. My intention of sharing the video was only to show the hardship women had to go through while in labour, so that men would be more appreciative of their wives.)

He also advised those who could not see the positive side of his postings to no longer follow him on his social media accounts.

“Sy buat utk followers sy di youtube bukan untk haters. Biasalah dalam hidup ni apa yg kita buat x semua org setuju sbb masing2 ada pandangan dan saya hormati pandangan anda semua.....Harap benda ni tidak berlarutan.....” (I upload all my personal stories for my followers, not for haters. While we can never please everyone, I believe each of us is entitled to our own opinion, and I respect your stand. Let us all move on from this episode.)

On Monday, his wife Datin Seri Nur Shahida Mohd Rashid gave birth to his fourth child – Yussof Al Qardawi.
