#Showbiz: 'I would never deceive my fans' — Fattah Amin on accusations of cheating product agents

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actor Fattah Amin had a rude shock last week to find several reports made claiming that he was no longer actively endorsing his health food products — MRP Sup Diet and Berrytox, both registered under MRP International Sdn Bhd.

However, the 28-year-old has kept mum until today where he commented on the matter via a press statement today, issued by Universal Music Malaysia.

“I’m surprised at these allegations,” he said.

“I would never deceive my fans and supporters and promote something I don’t personally believe in. You can rest assured that I am currently working together with Universal Music to resolve this matter,” said the husband of popular actress Nur Fazura Sharifuddin, 35.

Fattah also said that any statements regarding this matter, would only come from Universal Music from now on.

At this juncture, Universal Music together with its Legal team are in the midst of assisting Fattah in resolving the existing internal issues with MRP International and any other clients that were signed on by his previous management, as some are without legal contracts.

Last week, some news reports had highlighted the plight of an agent of the food products who felt cheated when investing in the business, only to be told

later they Fattah would not be promoting the products anymore.
