KUALA LUMPUR: Minho of popular K-Pop group Shinee seems to be fitting in really well as he undergoes his current mandatory military service.
According to Soompi, images of the 27-year-old idol, whose full name is Choi Min Ho, were released last Sunday on South Korea’s official Marine Corps blog, Fly Marine Boy.
These set of photos features the singer-songwriter, actor and TV host looking very focussed and manly as he carries out his activities with other new recruits during training sessions at an education centre.
The Incheon-born star apparently also learnt how to wear a gas mask for chemical, biological and radiological training during his third week as seen in one picture.
Other shots see a determined Minho jumping off a 10-metre diving platform and running while clad in military attire and hauling gear including a rifle.
Now sporting a buzz cut hairdo, the idol from the SM Entertainment quartet Shinee, enlisted in the Marine Corps on April 15 and has about a couple of weeks of military training to go.
The star of movies such as Derailed, The Princess And The Matchmaker and Illang: The Wolf Brigade is expected to be discharged on Nov 15 next year.
