#Showbiz: Don't try to make me appear a liar, says Nelissa Nezam

KUALA LUMPUR: Paskal actor Ammar Alfian’s model and host wife Nelissa Nezam denies “slandering” him on social media.

In a news report yesterday, she claimed that her husband “twisted” her statements and made it look as if she had “made up stories” about his alleged infidelity.

“Don’t try to make me appear a liar by twisting my words. I apologise for not sounding rational, but I care for you and our baby. I’m not slandering you, it’s you who cannot be forthright and I don’t need your forgiveness. You should be worried about how to forgive yourself,” she said in an Instastory.

Nelissa also told Ammar to stop acting as if he was a “victim of circumstances” and described him as a “coward who feared that his trickery will backfire”.

Ammar, who was in conversation with Nelissa, admitted his “mistake” and apologised. He said he did not tell her about the “affair” to protect their privacy.

Two days ago, Ammar described rumours of his alleged extra-marital affair as “slander”.

The 32-year-old called on Netizens to stop spreading rumours as they “did not know the truth”.

He also said that Nelissa, who had earlier accused him of infidelity by taking to social media, had apologised to him.

Last Monday, Ammar was accused by Nelissa of two-timing her.

In an Instastory, Nelissa, who is six months pregnant said that Ammar had hurt her by having an affair and hoped that they would be able to settle things on their own and prioritise being good parents.

Ammar and Nelissa tied the knot on March 6, 2016.

Paskal, screened last year, was directed by Adrian Teh and raked in a whopping RM30.5 million at the box office in two months.

The story of the Royal Malaysian Navy’s Special Warfare Force or Pasukan Khas Laut / Paskal (the Malaysian quivalent of the United States’ Navy Seals), it also starred Hairul Azreen, Taufiq Hanafi and Jasmine Suraya Chin.
