#Showbiz: 'He was around after my biological father took off' — Aaron Aziz

KUALA LUMPUR: Growing up without his biological father, actor Datuk Aaron Aziz is touched by the love and care shown by his stepfather Abdullah Md Dawood.

The 43-year-old artiste revealed that after his biological father had left him and his family when he was still a kid, his stepfather became the only father figure in his life.

Sharing a photo of him and his stepfather on Instagram recently, Aaron wrote: “To me, the person that I look up to is a person who has given everything and asked for nothing in return.

“My stepfather, Abdullah Md Dawood is that person. He is the only father figure that I know of ever since my biological father left me when I was just a few years old.

“He is the one that has kept my Mum happy, delivered his responsibilities and delegated his obligations fairly and justly.

“He took me and my 3 siblings in as his own. And till today, he doesn't have a child bearing his own name. All of us bear different surnames than his. And yet, he loves us unconditionally. He is our hero. My mum’s hero. My hero.”

Abdullah responded by commenting: “Thank you my son. It’s always been my duty to see my loved ones thru’ in life. All have given me the best gifts in life, which are my grandchildren. I love all of you with everlasting love and memories. Love you, my son.”

The posting received more than 20,000 “likes” from fans and followers who were touched by Aaron’s kind words towards his stepfather.
