#Showbiz: Siti, Datuk K willingly accept SOP violation case outcome

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin and husband Datuk Seri Khalid Mohamad Jiwa have fully acknowledged the compound of RM10,000 they each received for SOP violations during their recent tahnik event for their second child held at their home.

Siti said that the two of them respected the decision of the authorities and hoped that everything would be settled soon.

"We only found out about the compound on us through the news and the media. We have yet to receive an official announcement from the police.

"Whatever the case, we respect and accept the decision of the authorities and hope that this matter be nicely put to rest," she said in a news report yesterday.

Previously, Selangor police chief Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed was reported to have said that Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri who had attended the tahnik event had also received a compound for RM2,000.

Other guests at the function, namely Islamic preachers Ustaz Azhar Idrus, Ustaz Don Daniyal Don Biyajid and Ustaz Iqbal Zain, each received a compound for RM2,000 as well.

Three of Khalid's children, Muhammad Adif Khalid, Muhammad Aazief and Muhammad Asyraf, also received the RM2,000 compound each.

Prior to this, Siti was embroiled in a controversy after pictures featuring a minister and a popular independent preacher at the tahnik event for her second child, Muhammad Afwa, went viral.
