KUALA LUMPUR: The upcoming Anuar Zain & Ziana Zain Live In Kuala Lumpur 2022 concert is a sold out affair as tickets were all snapped up in three days after going on sale.
Tickets to the highly-anticipated show at the Plenary Hall in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) on Aug 6 with a capacity of 2,900, were going at RM288, RM588, RM788, RM988 and RM1,188.
A statement from organiser Trumpet International Sdn Bhd read: "Congratulations to those who were able to acquire the tickets. This concert has achieved a milestone as being one of the sold-out shows featuring local music artistes where tickets were fully snapped up after just three days of being on sale."
It added: "Anuar Zain and Ziana Zain are very touched by the strong support to make this upcoming concert a 'full house' event. Their popularity as Malaysian singers has indeed been proven once again."
Anuar had previously shared that he was over the moon to finally be able to realise his dream of performing together with his sister in a concert.
"This is really sweet history in the making. The last time we actually shared a stage in a proper concert was more than 12 years ago.
"Fans have been clamouring for this for a very long time. However, it's only now that this can happen since the timing is truly right and we have come to an easy agreement," he said in a news report yesterday.
Fans can expect the two powerhouse siblings to belt out over 20 songs during the upcoming concert, which will feature hits songs from each beloved artiste as well as several duets performed together.
