KUALA LUMPUR: Jisoo of international K-Pop girl group BlackPink celebrated her 28th birthday yesterday by uploading her first video on her brand-new YouTube channel.
According to Soompi, the channel name in Korean can be literally translated to "Happiness Jisoo 103 per cent".
The name could also be loosely translated to mean "happiness index 103 per cent."
The popular idol's first video was an over-13-minute vlog from BlackPink's recent two-night tour stop in London.
In it, Jisoo can be seen taking viewers on a tour around the city in England which also included the food she ate and the things she did before and after the concerts.
The description of the video also revealed that all proceeds from Jisoo's new channel will be donated while adding that, "We hope that everyone's happiness index goes up even higher."
The video has since garnered over 4 million views with more than 700,000 likes and close to 81,000 comments in less than 24 hours since it went up on the channel.
Meanwhile, the talented artiste is currently preparing to make her solo debut later on in the year.
BlackPink's agency, YG Entertainment, confirmed this by releasing a statement on the matter on Monday.
It read: "BlackPink's Jisoo is currently working hard on recording her solo album."
"While carrying out a busy world tour schedule since last year, she finished the album jacket photo shoot and worked on music production whenever she got the time in order to keep the promise with fans.
"She will greet fans soon with good news," it said.
Jisoo will be the final member of BlackPink to make her solo debut following Jennie, Rosé and Lisa.
Fans in Malaysia will be able to catch the popular K-Pop quartet live during their highly-anticipated Born Pink concert at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, here on March 4.
