KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Rashidi Ishak ended his singlehood today when he married TV producer and director Wan Hasliza Wan Zainuddin.
While the 49-year-old artiste and his bride have not announced their union yet, the news was shared by a few people on social media, including Rashidi's daughter Maryam Rashika, who shared a photo on her Insta-story with the caption: "Dad who wears his Nike (shoes) at his own wedding, daughter who wears Dr Martens (boots) to her dad's wedding."
Meanwhile, a make-up artist known as Mas Hashim also shared a photo of the newlyweds on his Facebook account.
In the post, Mas congratulated the couple: "Congratulations, Rashidi Ishak and Wan Hasliza Wan Zainuddin. May this union last forever."
The newlyweds donned an all-white ensemble, with the groom wearing the said Nike sneakers, for their wedding solemnisation which was believed to have taken place at Sri Sendayan Mosque in Negri Sembilan earlier today.
Wan Hasliza is the producer and director for TV3's popular drama series "Kampung People".
Rashidi was married to actress and lecturer Vanidah Imran between October 2000 and August 2018 and they have two children — Mikhail Imran, 22, and Maryam Rashika, 19.
