KUALA LUMPUR: Filmmaker Tim Burton, the man behind films such as Beetlejuice and the 1989 version of Batman, will be in town for the first time on March 21 to open a special exhibition of his works.
The exhibition themed The World Of Tim Burton will feature 540 original items from his personal collection that depict his artistic journey in Hollywood. It will be held at the Pavilion Shopping Centre in Bukit Jalil.
Fans will be able to meet him in person at the exhibition's opening ceremony that day.
Those who want a surreal experience can purchase VIP ticket packages that include a book titled The Art Of Tim Burton, a book-signing session with Burton and limited edition merchandise.
The VIP package, priced at RM1,500, will be available at noon on Saturday with 100 tickets available.
General admission tickets are priced at RM88 and RM68 for children, students and senior citizens.
The exhibition will be held from March 31 to July 30 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
