KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Fasha Sandha is being treated at a private hospital in Johor Baru after sustaining injuries to the face when she fell while filming in the city yesterday.
In an Instagram post believed to be updated by her assistant, the 38-year-old artiste had injured her left eye and broke an eye orbit when she hit the edge of a bed on set.
"Kakak (Fasha) is currently resting and God willing, she'll be transferred to a hospital in Kuala Lumpur later today or tomorrow morning.
"The production had already apologised to her and her family. Kakak also said there's no one to be blamed as it was an accident. Nobody could have prevented it from happening," read the caption of the video post.
The video, which captured the filming of the scene, Fasha was tussling with actor Azhan Rani. It ended with Fasha crying in pain and being treated at the emergency unit of the hospital.
According to the post, Fasha and Azhan were filming a production for TV3 titled 'Anak Tuan'.
