KUALA LUMPUR: South Korean actor Park Bo-Gum sustained a leg injury while filming an action sequence for the K-drama Good Boy recently.
The Korea Times reported yesterday that a representative from Park's agency, The Black Label, confirmed the incident in a statement on Aug 29.
"Park Bo-Gum suffered a minor injury while filming an action scene for the JTBC drama Good Boy and is currently receiving treatment," said the spokesperson.
Filming has been halted temporarily as the 31-year-old celebrity is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Seoul.
Netizens swiftly shared their recovery wishes on Park's social media accounts.
"Praying for healing and recovery," one netizen commented.
"Please update us so we don't worry so much," another posted on X (formerly Twitter).
Good Boy is a drama about the journey of a group of Olympic medalists who are recruited to become elite police officers.
Park portrays Yoon Dong-Joo, a former gold medalist boxer who starts a new chapter as a rookie officer in the special crime unit.
