#Showbiz: BTS' J-Hope takes No.1 spot on iTunes chart in numerous countries for 'On The Street'

KUALA LUMPUR: J-Hope of K-Pop sensation BTS has found success with his latest single On The Street after its release on March 3.

The new tune which features American rapper J. Cole had immediately topped the iTunes charts in many countries around the world after its release.

According to Soompi, BTS' agency BigHit Music announced that the track had hit the No.1 spot on the iTunes Top Songs chart in about 80 different regions around the globe including Canada, Sweden and Italy.

On The Street had also made its debut at No.16 on Spotify's daily global chart after accumulating over 3,294,403 streams in just one day after it dropped.

Last month, the 29-year-old idol whose real name is Jung Ho Seok was featured in a documentary special on Disney+ Hotstar, titled J-Hope In The Box.

It provided a behind-the-scenes glimpse into J-Hope's life and the creation of his first solo album, Jack In The Box, which was released last year.

The talented Korean entertainer is expected to join the military in the near future for his mandatory service after a recent announcement from BigHit Music that J-Hope would release his latest single before his enlistment.
