KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actress Intan Najuwa Abdul Wahid, 26, tied the knot with businessman Datuk Ahmad Azraf Azman at 6.45pm today.
A statement issued by Intan's publicists today said the Tak Sempurna Mencintaimu star and Ahmad Azraf, 39, were married in a solemnisation ceremony conducted by National Council of Islamic Affairs Muzakarah Committee chairman Datuk Dr Nooh Gadot, with Intan's father acting as her wali.
The ceremony took place at the One And Only Desaru Coast Hotel in Desaru, Kota Tinggi, Johor and Ahmad Azraf presented his wife with RM20,000 'mas kahwin' and RM222,000 in dowry.
In the ceremony, Intan wore a white gown designed by Fiziwoo and makeup by Datuk Alha Alfa.
Intan's fellow actresses Nora Danish, Datin Elvina Mohamad and Fatin Afeefa were among the guests at the ceremony, and its date coincided with her birthday.
The couple will have a reception with a traditional costume theme at Rimbunan Event Space in Johor Baru tomorrow.
Intan was previously engaged to businessman Razrul Anwar Rusli in August 2019, but they went separate ways the following year.
