KUALA LUMPUR: Three international artistes, Brian McFadden (former member of Irish boyband Westlife), Keith Duffy (former member of another Irish band Boyzone) and American singer Nicole Scherzinger performed at the wedding of the couple nicknamed Crazy Rich Surabaya recently.
The wedding of the couple – Ryan Harris, the son of former AirAsia Indonesia's president Pin Harris, and fashion designer Gwen Ashley Widodo, the daughter of Surabaya renowned property tycoon Markus Widodo and fashion designer Warren Tjandra – which took place at The Westin Surabaya last Saturday became viral for its lavish details, aside from the star-studded guestlist.
While popular Indonesian celebrities Raffi Ahmad and Melaney Ricardo hosted the event, others such as Raisa, Afgan and Via Vallen were also at the wedding.
Instead of attending the event bearing gifts for the newlyweds, the 2,000 guests were gifted with doorgift from the luxury brand Hermès.
The wedding is reported to have cost the couple (or their parents) a whopping sum of IDR75bil (RM22.5mil).
