KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Noh Salleh said he has returned his adopted son Musa to his ex-wife Mizz Nina on Saturday evening, following the interim order issued by the Syariah Court to the latter.
The 38-year-old Hujan frontman revealed this in an instagram post he uploaded last night.
In the post, in which he uploaded five photos showing him spending time with Musa, he wrote a five-paragraph caption, to avoid further misunderstanding on the "incident".
According to him TV3's Melodi team interviewed him on Saturday afternoon (but only aired yesterday afternoon, Sunday), during which he claimed that he did not "kidnap Musa as it had been speculated, as he had received permission by Musa's biological mother to look after the boy."
He added: "On Saturday night, at about 8.30pm, Mizz Nina, escorted by her husband, police officers and a few others came to my house to pick up Musa. She also had with her the interim order from the courts ."
He added that although it was hard for him (to return Musa to Mizz Nina), he had to honour the interim order and would seek counsel from lawyers on the matter.
"Only God knows how it broke my heart," he wrote.
Noh married Mizz Nina or Shazrina Azman, 44, in July 2011, and divorced in August 2022. Four months before the divorce, they announced that they had adopted a baby boy, whom they named Musa.
