KUALA LUMPUR: Actress and singer Nora Danish admitted that she and her husband Nedim Nazri Aziz are going through a rough patch in their marriage.
"Divorce is the last resort because we have to think about the children. However, I don't deny that there is indeed some turbulence," she said when met at a Hari Raya event organised by 4Ward Entertainment Sdn Bhd here, today.
Rumors of there being trouble in paradise began to circulate after Hari Raya Aidilfitri as the couple did not share any family photos.
The 42-year-old artiste added that the two have not been living together for a while.
"Regarding living apart, that's true because our home is in the process of being renovated. I live with my mother and Nedim stays at his father's house.
"This gives us space to think about things and improve the situation," she said.
Nora denied that the current upheaval was caused by a third person but that it originated from a difference in opinions.
"Even though we live apart, we still keep in touch every day. I still respect him as a husband.
"I don't want what is happening to give a negative impression to the children. They are okay but they are more stressed by the condition of our house which has not been completely renovated," she said.
Nora added that she leaves their household affairs to fate.
"That's the rule, maybe Allah will give us space to solve this problem. We can only pray for the best and leave the matter to Him," she said.
Nora tied the knot with Nedim on March 30, 2017, and they are blessed with a son, Mohamed Neqayl, 6.
Before this, Nora was married to Datuk Rizal Ashram or Jejai on June, 20, 2006 but they divorced on July 10, 2008.
The two have a song, Putra Rayqal, 15.
