KUALA LUMPUR: The final episode of the drama series Lelaki Itu on TV3 at 10pm tonight is targeted to reach more than four million viewers.
TV3 said that the series which draws to a close tonight had created a phenomenon after airing for 29 episodes.
"So far, Lelaki Itu has recorded a reach of 1.13 billion on social media as well as positive feedback from viewers," it said in a statement today.
TV3 added that the series also features a storyline filled with positive lessons and content that provides awareness, especially regarding the issue of faraid.
Created by Erma Fatima and directed by Along Kamaluddin and Nur Ain Sharif, Lelaki Itu stars an ensemble cast made up of Datuk Adi Putra, Che Puan Sarimah Ibrahim, Fazura, Nabila Huda, Hannah Delisha, Aedy Ashraf, Nadia Brian and Sophia Al-Barakbah.
TV3 said that the production had also become the No.1 drama series on the Tonton streaming platform.
Lelaki Itu revolves around Syed Mirza, played by Adi, who is married to Sharifah Qaidah (Sarimah), a rich and influential woman.
Although they have three daughters, their home life is not what they had hoped for and the family becomes increasingly divided.
