POPULAR actor Remy Ishak makes a return to Media Prima in the drama Marina, now available for streaming on Tonton.
The 30-episode series, also starring Sophia Albarakbah, explores complex themes of love, family conflict and personal sacrifice.
In Marina, Remy plays Haqiem, a man caught in the midst of family obligations and a complicated emotional journey following a betrayal.
His portrayal of Haqiem showcases his maturity as an actor, reaffirming his strong presence on screen after his last appearance in Hati Yang Tersakiti four years ago.
The story follows Marina (Sophia), a young woman who moves to Kuala Lumpur in search of a better life after her sister's death.
She soon becomes involved with Datuk Fahad (Hisyam Hamid), a wealthy businessman, but her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Haqiem.
Torn between the promise of financial security and a genuine emotional connection, Marina is forced to navigate a complex web of relationships and moral dilemmas.
As Marina's dreams of a better life are tested by unforeseen betrayals and challenges, the series also explores themes of power, loyalty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Marina airs every Monday to Thursday on Tonton and is available for streaming online and via the Tonton app.
