#Showbiz: Disgraced ex-BigBang member Seungri seen performing in Malaysia, Netizens up in arms

KUALA LUMPUR: Disgraced K-pop idol Seungri was recently seen performing at a birthday bash for a business tycoon with a 'Tan Sri' title in Malaysia.

According to Says.com, a video featuring the ex-BigBang member at the party believed to be held at a local Chinese restaurant had began circulating on social media recently.

In the one-minute clip, Seungri can be seen singing BigBang's hit song, Bang Bang Bang, while pulling people onstage as others cheer him on during the performance.

Many Netizens were repulsed by the video and expressed left negative comments about the former K-pop star.

One said: "It's sad, some of these people attending the event don't even know what he has done."

"Please ban him from entering Malaysia, the Department of Immigration. Malaysians who invited him here are embarrassing us," wrote one more Netizen.

Another added: "Go back to jail."

Seungri, 34, was sentenced to jail for three years in 2021 for his role in the Burning Sun sex and drugs scandal in South Korea.

An appeal court eventually reduced the jail term to 18 months and he completed serving his time in May 2022.

Since his release, there have been media reports of the fallen idol living it up in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Cambodia.
