KUALA LUMPUR: Although he admits that Bruno Mars is a great singer and that he likes to listen to his songs, Aizat Amdan has no intention of going to the singer-songwriters concert come September.
In a Berita Harian report today, the 35-year-old Akademi Fantasia alumnus said that this is due to Mars pro-Israel views.
As much as Mars is openly supportive of Israel and its Zionist regime, Aizat said he also has his own belief and stand on the Palestine-Israel conflict.
Because of that, I wouldnt turn a blind eye and still go to his concert.
Theres always a limit for us. And in this case, why support someone who is pro-Israel?
If theres anyone who or product which contributes in funding the regime which is committing genocide, theres no need for anyone (who is in his right mind) to continue his support, said Aizat.
He added: We should know the difference between what is right and wrong.
