#SHOWBIZ: Raisa promises a more enchanting concert for KL fans

INDONESIAN singer Raisa is set to return to Malaysia for her highly anticipated concert, RAISA – Teristimewa di Kuala Lumpur, taking place at the Mega Star Arena on Nov 3.

Promising a distinctive experience, Raisa shared, "This concert is special for both me and my fans. The preparations were hands-on, making it unique compared to my past shows in KL."

Since her debut with the hit single "Serba Salah" in 2011, Raisa has garnered numerous accolades, including Best New Artist at the 15th Indonesian Music Awards.

Known for her soulful voice, she continues to captivate audiences across Asia.

Grateful for her fans' unwavering support, Raisa, who made history as the first Indonesian artist to hold a solo concert at Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, is looking forward to expanding her reach, with plans for a future show in Japan.

Despite her busy career, Raisa is also embracing her role as a mother, finding that it brings added depth to her life.

"As a working mother, having a strong support system is essential. Technology helps me stay connected with my family, making balancing work and family easier," she told BH Online.

Raisa reflected on the transformative experience of motherhood.

"Now, love feels broader and more profound. Seeing the world from a mother's perspective makes even small things seem valuable," she said.

The Kuala Lumpur concert will feature a special collaboration with Malaysian singer Ernie Zakri, whom Raisa praised as an ideal partner to add something extraordinary to the event.

"We've never collaborated before, and we'll be performing songs that fans here haven't seen live," she said. Among them is the beloved duet "Anganku Anganmu," originally performed with Isyana Sarasvati, which has been widely requested by her Malaysian fans.

Part of her much-awaited tour, the concert will showcase over 20 songs, a live band flown in from Indonesia, and a visually stunning stage setup with special audiovisual effects.

Presented by Kharisma Music, this immersive show is set to run for more than two hours, offering fans an unforgettable musical experience.
