KUALA LUMPUR: Following recent speculations that his wife was expecting their first child, singer and actor MK of K-Clique just expects people to pray for the best for them.
"Like what went viral (on his wife being pregnant), I hope for good prayers. But any further announcements will be done when I get the consent of the person directly involved, Madam MK herself, God willing," said the 29-year-old artiste in a Harian Metro report yesterday.
MK, or Muhammad Hairi Amin Hamdan, added that he was grateful that his wife, Siti Hajaar Syeikh Nordin, 28, has always been healthy.
The rapper and songwriter also explained that he was okay with whatever people post online.
"I can't stop other people's actions. As we know in this social media era, people will speak out on what they want freely, whether it's good or bad.
"So, what I mean is that I don't care or care about anyone who wants to share or voice their opinion. There is no obstacle," he said .
Talking about looking forward to having a baby this year, MK said: "I think everyone who gets married can't wait to have that 'moment' of having a child and being a father. I can't wait either."
Earlier, MK and his wife received many congratulatory messages on social media as netizens claimed that Siti Hajaar was pregnant after alleging that Siti Hajaar had a 'baby bump' based on recent videos of her online.
So far, MK has not confirmed nor denied the pregnancy rumours.
The couple tied the knot on June 16 last year.
