KUALA LUMPUR: 'Barbie' star Margot Robbie is pregnant, as reported by People website yesterday.
While various sources confirmed this with the portal, no official comment was issued by the representatives of the Australia-born actress Robbie and her English husband, film producer Tom Ackerley, on the news of them welcoming their firstborn in a few months' time.
Robbie and Ackerley, both 34, met in 2013 on the set of romantic war movie 'Suite Française', where he was the assistant director, while Robbie was part of the cast.
The couple tied the knot in December 2016 in a private ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia. They never announced their engagement prior to their nuptials.
It was reported that the couple were friends first and worked together in the production company LuckyChap, a four-person producing team that also included Robbie's childhood friend Sophia Kerr and Josey McNamara.
