KUALA LUMPUR: "My father? Hahaha…there have been many fake accounts claiming to be his, which I've blocked in the past," shared actress Zara Zya on Instagram's Threads recently.
In the post, the 38-year-old artiste whose real name is Zainurul Razia Mohd Zainuddin, hinted that she's had a strained relationship with her father for a long time now.
Apparently, the actress claimed that through those fake social media accounts, the person claiming to be her father had been saying bad things and dissing her online.
"So I can only imagine how far this person would go in saying things about me offline. Must be even worse…" she wrote.
"Once, a reporter told me how a man called up and introduced himself as my father. He also had a lot to say about me to this reporter."
Zara's only wish was for people to stop asking about who her father is and his wherabouts.
In the latest post on her Threads, Zara wrote: "You shower your love to other people's children and family, but at the same time, you not only ignore you own, but had 'kicked' them out of your life."
Harian Metro reported today that it was unsuccessful in its attempts to contact Zara to clarify the reason for her sharing of those posts.
