KUALA LUMPUR: Trailblazing Chinese hip-hop star Gali is set to make his debut performance in Malaysia at 8.30pm on Sept 26 in Zepp KL, Jalan Hang Tuah here.
He will feature his latest mixtape Stripelife, and his concert Gali Stripelive Summer Tour 2024 is organised by Live Nation and Star Planet.
Gali's musical journey has garnered acclaim across the Chinese-speaking hip-hop world, and he blends elements of old school, boom bap and R&B, plus insightful lyrics and profound storytelling.
He finished fourth in the 2020 season of The Rap Of China and his best known hits include Crystal, Pearl Illusion, 70 Per Cent and 1992.
His album Atlantis won Best Mandarin Rap Album Of The Year in the Hip-Hop Awards 2022.
