#SHOWBIZ: Dolla fires up the stage [WATCH]

MALAYSIAN girl group Dolla delivered a memorable performance at their debut concert in the country on Aug 3.

The sold-out event, titled 'Re:Birth The Experience,' thrilled the 2,500-strong crowd at Zepp Kuala Lumpur.

Despite the recent announcement of the sudden departure of one of its members, Syasya, the remaining trio delivered  amazing performances with next-level choreography.

At 8.30pm, the lovely ladies — Sabrina Rusli (Sabronzo), Tabitha Ariel Lam Lianne (Tabby), and Angelina Chai Ka Ying (Angel) — opened the show with their well-known track, 'Bad.'

The crowd immediately sang along even as the group transitioned into their next songs, 'Fight' and 'Dolla Make You Wanna.'

The trio gave energetic self-introductions, which drew much laughter from their fans, known as iDollas.

Backed by a capable live band and an ensemble of dynamic dancers, the girls performed more crowd-pleasers as they went through several costume changes.

The setlist for the night included 14 songs from their albums, with popular tracks such as 'Best Side,' 'Damelo,' 'Classic,' and 'Berani'.

The trio were surprised and cried when a heartwarming video message came from iDollas.

"I promise that we will not stop and will continue to create the best songs and performances to entertain all of our beloved iDollas," Angel said.

The concert ended with 'BO$$ Up.' As the trio waved goodbye and left the stage, fans began chanting, "Encore! Encore!"

In a humorous twist, the crowd started singing 'Raya Raya Raya' until the trio returned to the stage, closing the show for good with their latest track, 'Here 4U'.

The concert was entertaining, despite some overly-long video playbacks between songs.

Winners of various campaigns and those who bought special seats got to share one-on-one moments with the three members.

In a post-concert statement, Tabby said: "As we prepared for the concert, we were nervous as we didn't know how exactly it was going to turn out.

"Although we knew that our iDollas are amazing and that they were going to give their everything, to see it all happen on the day itself was just mind-blowing.

"When on the stage, we couldn't even hear ourselves in our ear monitors! That's how loud the crowd was... It was a crazy experience!"
