KUALA LUMPUR: Life goes on as usual for preacher Ustaz Don Daniyal Don Biyajid.
The 39-year-old said this in today's Harian Metro report, in reference to the recent controversies related to him and his work as an independent preacher.
Despite those hiccups, he said, none of the issues had really affected him as he always looked at the glass as being half full.
"I go on doing my work as usual. There's nothing much I can do with what had transpired, as we're only humans, who are powerless compared to God the Almighty.
"If my fate is as such, I will have to accept it willingly," he said.
Don Daniyal added that he would wait patiently for the result from the special committee meeting of the Selangor Islamic Religious Council (Mais) with regard to the suspension of certification for him to give religious talks in the state.
He viewed this as an opportunity for him to plan and reschedule his commitments.
"What happened were tests from Allah, and this is not a life sentence on me and my work.
"I'm also grateful to have a great support network made up of my family and friends," he said.
Despite criticisms hurled at him on social media, Don Daniyal also didn't feel offended as he believed those words came from people who didn't fully know or understand what the real situation was.
On June 21, the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) had instructed that all of Don Daniyal's scheduled talks or programmes to be postponed pending Mais' special meeting.
Earlier, he was also taken off air, from hosting RTM's 'Salam Baitullah' from June 5, following his controversial views shared via social media on a discussion about the life of the Prophet Muhammad.
