KUALA LUMPUR: Netizens were recently amused with a video showing actor Zul Ariffin meeting up with his former love interest and fellow artiste Abby Abadi at an event.
Although the video had been recorded some time back, reportedly at an Aidilfitri open house of film producer Datuk Yusof Haslam, its recent appearance in an Instagram post caught the attention of social media users.
In the video, the 37-year-old actor is seen posing with Abby, 46, accompanied by her former Elite bandmate Azza Zawari.
Many fans commented on the post with one recounting a specific incident when the two were an item.
"Abby meeting up with her ex-boyfriend. I used to follow their story.
"Once, when Abby was hospitalised, he used to look after her at the hospital," wrote the netizen.
The comment caught Abby's attention, who said: "Oh dear, even I had forgotten about this 'episode'."
Zul and Abby were in a relationship for three years before they split in 2011.
While Zul is still an eligible bachelor, Abby is now married to Muhammad Faizal Zakaria.
