KUALA LUMPUR: With a huge following here, it's not surprising that Indonesian singer-songwriter Kunto Aji has prepared for another concert in Malaysia for the third time.
In a Harian Metro report yesterday, the artiste known for his heartfelt and healing songs is set to stage the 'Kunto Aji: Perjalanan Menawar Racun' concert at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on Aug 28.
According to the 37-year-old artiste, the concert here is part of the tour he had arranged in his home country.
"The concert title refers to the theme of self-discovery, healing, and spiritual strength.
"As a singer and songwriter, I'm thrilled to bring this concert for fans here.
"Each of my performances is an emotional journey for me," shared the Yogyakarta-born artiste.
A day before the concert, Kunto will also interact with his fans during a special session called 'Kelas Urup & Update Kehidupan' at KLCC park.
He hopes that those in attendance during the session will share their experiences on the previous pandemic or how they dealt with heartbreaks.
At the two-hour concert, Kunto is expected to perform 20 songs, including some tracks from his latest album.
"Among them are 'Terlalu Lama Sendiri', 'Rehat', and 'Saudade'," he said.
His debut concert here was held at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas in 2022, followed by the one staged Zepp last year.
