KUALA LUMPUR: Actress and "new mum" Uqasha Senrose, 32, is saddened that some netizens have accused her of mistreating her personal assistant.
In a TikTok video yesterday, Uqasha strongly denied allegations that she abused her personal assistant and described them as baseless.
"I have nothing to do with those accusations. As far as I'm concerned I'm busy taking care of my baby Uqaira who is four months old," she said.
"You think I'm such a gangster, hitting a person like that? I'm always at home with my baby and I must always be gentle with her. Why would I go around hitting a person?"
It was recently reported that the personal assistant of an actress was arrested by police for allegedly stealing her employer's jewellery.
The woman also filed a police report claiming that her employer threatened and hit her.
Some netizens claimed that Uqasha, who is married to actor Kamal Adli, was the actress involved.
Uqasha and Kamal were married on Nov 5, 2021 and Uqaira was born on April 27 this year.
