KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Uqasha Senrose is remaining calm despite allegations of her marriage being on the rocks.
The 32-year-old artiste, whose full name is Nik Zaris Uqasha Nik Sen, said that she was grateful to her husband, actor Kamal Adli, for coming forward to defend their marriage.
"Thank you my love, just like how you always advise me. Let people do what they want against us, God is just," she wrote in a recent Instagram Story.
Uqasha admitted that it was a strange occurance and wondered how rumours of her alleged martial troubles could spread.
"Said to be turbulent? Who said? There's no basis for that," she said.
Yesterday, Kamal, when met by the media, refused to entertain speculations claiming that his marriage was in trouble and said that the matter was deliberately instigated by certain individuals.
Kamal, whose full name is Ahmad Kamal Ahmad Adli, 38, added that he was unaffected and even slightly tickled by such wild gossip.
Uqasha and Kamal tied the knot on Nov 5, 2021, after two years of dating.
They have a daughter, Hawra Uqaira, who was born in April.
