KUALA LUMPUR: War On Terror: KL Anarki actor Aedy Ashraf said that his relationship with Pulau actress Amelia Henderson is over, but they still remain good friends.
"In life, relationships may not last, but I always believe that friendships do," said Aedy in a Harian Metro report yesterday.
"And since we are still good friends, I have no problem starring the same drama as Amelia and vice-versa."
Aedy, 31, said that he and Amelia were always "professional" when it came to work.
"Being able to work together with any talented actress is part of my job. Nothing can or should get in the way of me working together with her."
Amelia recently said in a TikTok video that she and Aedy had ended their relationship amicably.
On another note, Aedy said that he took up self-defence during his schooldays as a means to defend himself from school bullies.
"That happened when I was 11 or 12. Thank God I wasn't badly beaten up."
He said that learning martial arts not only helped protect him from bullies but also prepared him for the role of action heroes, such as the protagonist Khalid in War On Terror last year.
