KUALA LUMPUR: Two domestic helpers hired by actress Ayu Raudhah ran away while the artiste was still in confinement.
In a Harian Metro report, the 39-year-old said the two left her house in Seremban yesterday, while she was staying at her sister's (Rozita Che Wan's) house in Kuala Lumpur during her confinement after giving birth to her seventh child.
The report quoted Ayu as saying that because of the incident, she needed to return to her house to check if they had stolen anything, especially certain things that only she knew where they were hidden.
"Both of them are still new. While one had not even completed her first month, the other had been with my family for less than four months.
"I hope they didn't steal anything. It's so stressful dealing with maids like these. But it's also equally stressful without one, especially since I'm still in my confinement," she said.
Ayu said her husband, former Harimau Malaya football team captain, Zaquan Adha Abdul Radzak, would be lodging a police report regarding the incident.
"I tried to call them, but one had switched off her phone, and the other had blocked my number."
Earlier, Rozita or Che Ta had shared on her social media about the incident, asking whoever might come across the two runaway maids to contact her.
