KUALA LUMPUR: To avoid becoming intimate with her co-stars, actress Bella Astillah has set certain limits.
The 30-year-old single mother said during long periods of filming a drama series, there would be a bond among co-stars, which could lead some to become intimate.
"There needs to be boundaries, especially between male and female co-stars.
"As such, I make it a point to be in contact with my male co-stars only on the set. And I always keep the interactions strictly on a professional level," she told reporters at the press conference for the new drama series, 'Satu Hari Nanti', held in Petaling Jaya, Selangor yesterday.
She added, that as adults, people can control themselves.
"As long as we can control, try to avoid creating problems for yourself and people around you," said Bella, whose role in the series required her to spend many hours in front of the camera with her co-star Ezaidi Aziz.
Bella also said creating a casual atmosphere between them helped, like addressing each other as "aku, kau" when they are not in front of the camera.
'Satu Hari Nanti' will premiere on iQIYI on Sept 18 at 9pm.
