#SHOWBIZ: No infidelity involved in Fattah, Fazura divorce proceedings

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Nur Fazura's syarie lawyer Fakhrul Azman Abu Hassan has denied that 'infidelity' caused his client to file for divorce against her actor husband Fattah Amin.

Fakhrul Azman said that Fazura had filed for divorce on the grounds of "irreconcilable differences" between both parties.

"Both Fazura and Fattah did not issue any statement and infidelity was not mentioned in Fazura's divorce application," he said in an interview with Berita Harian at the Petaling Syariah Lower Court in Subang Bestari, Subang Jaya today.

"Both parties want to resolve their domestic problems in privately and amicably," he said.

The court has postponed the case to Oct 7.

Over the last two weeks, social media was abuzz with rumours that the marriage of Fazura and Fattah was on the rocks, as both of them no longer sent comments or likes to each other's social media accounts.

On Sept 13, Fazura filed for divorce at the Petaling Syariah Lower Court, to the surprise of many fans.

Fazura and Fattah were married on Nov 27 2017.

They have a four-year-old daughter, Nur Fatima Aisya, 4.
