KUALA LUMPUR: "Fazura is sad and cries almost every night."
This was what popular actress Nur Fazura's manager, Iman Tang, said about her current condition.
According to Harian Metro, Fazura was very affected by her marital crisis with husband and fellow artiste Fattah Amin.
Iman said that the actress, who turns 41 today, often cried when she was expressing how she felt in conversations with him.
"Sometimes, we would chat until late at night and I have also witnessed her not being able to hold back her tears.
"Any woman who dreams of being married would not want such a thing to happen.
"I know that she is strong. But when she calls me on the phone and breaksdown, I just tell her, 'cry as much as you can so that you feel relieved, don't be stressed out and don't keep it inside'," he said.
When asked if Fattah had shared his family matters with him, Iman said the actor had been in contact with him about three months ago.
"Fattah never shared or asked for advice from me with regards to his household. He's contacted me but did not talk about Fazura. Rather, he had asked me for advice with regards to his work.
"Even after Fazura had applied for a divorce, Fattah did not contact me," he said.
Iman added that he was also saddened by the situation the celebrity couple was currently going through.
Meanwhile, Fazura posted a short message on social media today in conjunction with her birthday.
The entry on Instagram read: "The beginning of a promise, to love myself more."
Earlier, it was reported that Fattah was not ready to release Fazura when the case of their divorce application was mentioned at the Petaling Syariah Lower Court in Subang Bestari, Shah Alam on Wednesday.
The court then postponed the couple's divorce case to Oct 7.
