#SHOWBIZ: Rosyam files police report over Fattah marriage advice slander

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actor Datuk Rosyam Nor has filed a police report at the Pudu police station, here after he was said to have relayed negative marriage advice to fellow actor Fattah Amin before he tied the knot with Fazura.

Enraged by the slander that was linked to him on social media, Rosyam listed several Facebook account users including the owner of an account that used the name of comedian Bell Ngasri for allegedly defaming him.

In a post on his Instagram account, accompanied by a short video, Rosyam said: "I have already made a police report at the Pudu police station regarding the spread on social media of slanderous and humiliating accusations linking me with (the divorce of) Fattah Amin and Nur Fazura."

The video also featured the 57-year-old artiste displaying a copy of the police report at the police station accompanied by his lawyer who he introduced as Aizul.

Meanwhile, Bell took to Instagram and denied that he was the user of the Facebook account in question.

"Alamak Datuk, I'm not the owner of that Facebook account. I don't know who is using my name. I swear I'm not lying.

"I don't interfere in people's affairs, don't sue me. Everyone should know, I'm not only good with Rosyam, but I'm also good with Fattah," he said.

Following Fattah's divorce from actress Fazura on Oct 7, a video recording of Rosyam's podcast, which discussed the topic of how a wife would start to look down on her husband if she had more wealth, went viral again.

However, in the discussion, Rosyam did not think that all women behaved like that but claimed that most would have that characteristic.

The podcast session was just a general discussion and not in any way aimed at any artiste experiencing marital issues at the time.
