KUALA LUMPUR: The appearance of guitarist Kid of the band Search who performed at Datuk M Nasir's performance at the Cipta 2 Concert last night received thunderous applause from the 8,000 fans who attended.
Kid, also known as Hamzah Mohd Taib, is renowned for his guitar performances in songs like "Fantasia Bulan Madu" and "Isabella," which helped establish Search's popularity among local music fans.
He also performed the song "Tiara," popularised by the band Kris. Kid's impressive and energetic guitar play captivated everyone attending the concert at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, leading to continuous applause for his performance.
At the end of the performance, M Nasir approached Kid, shook his hand, and then embraced him while escorting him backstage.
