#SHOWBIZ: Wife of comedian Shuk wants a divorce

KUALA LUMPUR: The wife of comedian Shuk Sahar, Fara Salleh, admitted that she asked for a divorce because she was tired of putting up with her husband.

According to Harian Metro, Fara said that she had lost patience with Shuk's behavior, who often talked about his shortcomings to his close acquaintances, which tarnished his good name.

"I admit to sharing my request for a divorce from Shuk because I'm so tired.

"It's all because of friends, their friendship is too strong to the point where they like to talk about the bad stories of each other's partners in the 'group'.

"I have a bad name not because of people far away but due to those who are closest," she said.

Regarding finding a solution, Fara said, Shuk has never changed even though they've had many conversations on the matter.

Fara added that she had a disturbed mental state due to her husband's attitude because she had no place to express her feelings.

"After getting married, I was forced to distance myself from my friends because I wanted to focus on carrying out my responsibilities as a wife.

"I once talked to Shuk and he changed but only for an instant," she said.

Previously, Fara made an outburst describing the upheaval in her household via Threads which received a lot of attention on social media.

Fara and Shuk tied the knot last November which was the comedian's second marriage.

Syuk was previously married to Rossa Serra but they divorced on March 22, 2023.

The comedian has two children from his former marriage, namely Nur Qurratu Ain, 8, and Nur Assyifatu Aimi, 5.
