SHAH ALAM: Artiste Joey Daud has been finally revealed as the mystery partner of singer Naqiu in the fourth season of popular reality show, 'Famili Duo', which premiered on TV3 tonight.
The 50-year-old artiste's identity had been kept a secret as part of the publicity gimmick for the show during the press conference for the announcement of the show last week.
The first episode of 'Famili Duo S4' tonight, which didn't feature any specific theme, saw the cousins perform 'Akhirnya Kini Pasti' and 'Sinaran', songs originally performed by Anita Sarawak and Datuk Sheila Majid respectively.
Other contestants on the show are siblings Zahid and Anne Baharuddin (who performed 'Seksis' and 'Lelaki Ini'); sisters Shiha Zikir and Ieda Zikir ('Kudaku Lari', 'Pantun Janda', and 'Sejarah Mungkin Berulang'); cousins Ayie of Floor 88 fame and Salma Asis ('Drama King'); cousins Didi Astillah and Thamiera Chan ('Kalis Rindu', and 'Makhluk Tuhan Paling Seksi'); as well as cousins Tomok and Sharul Kamal ('Aku Penghiburmu', and 'Gerhana').
This season, the show is hosted by Janna Nick and Sharif of Zero fame, while Mas Idayu and Datuk Rosyam Nor are the judges.
