#SHOWBIZ: Ernie Zakri wins first Indonesian award for 'Masing-Masing'

KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Ernie Zakri was crowned the winner of the Most Popular Sinetron Soundtrack award at the SCTV Music Awards last Wednesday.

Ernie or Nur Ernie Shahirah Zakri, 32, thanked all fans and supporters when her popular song won the highest award at the prestigious event.

Ernie uploaded several photos from the ceremony which took place in Indonesia via her Instagram page.

"So happy to receive the award for the Most Popular Sinetron Soundtrack for the series Luka Cinta on SCTV Indonesia.

"I came here just to sing, I never thought I would be able to bring back such a beautiful memory." she wrote.

Ernie expressed her gratitude to songwriters Ade Govinda and Nabila V, Universal Music Malaysia and Indonesia, her management team, as well as her loyal fans in both countries.

The popular singer became the second Malaysian artiste to win an award at the SCTV Music Awards after Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza who won the Most Popular Foreign Artiste in 2004.
