KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Kong actress Louisa Mak revealed her pregnancy when attending a media event on Nov 19, proudly showing off her baby bump and sharing that she was five months' pregnant.
"I feel nervous, it is a big responsibility," said the former Miss Hong Kong to Sin Chew Daily.
"I am so grateful for God's blessing. I feel very lucky and cherish it. I will do my best to prepare myself for entering a new stage in my life."
Speculation about her pregnancy began in September after she posted a photo from a friend's wedding.
However, Mak chose not to address the rumours at that time.
The 32-year-old actress and TV host had previously expressed her desire for at least four children.
With her first baby on the way, she seems to be on track to fulfil her dream.
The law graduate got engaged to pilot Keith Shing on Jan 30, registered their marriage a month later, and held their wedding ceremony in March.
The couple then took a romantic honeymoon to the Maldives in June.
