#SHOWBIZ: K-drama star Park Min-jae, 32, dies in China

KUALA LUMPUR: South Korean actor Park Min-jae, known for his roles in Little Women and Mr Lee, has passed away at the age of 32.

According to South Korean portal Xports News, Park died of sudden cardiac arrest in China last week.

His brother shared the news on the actor's Instagram, expressing heartfelt grief: "My beloved brother has gone to rest. I hope as many people as possible can remember him."

Park's agency, Big Title, confirmed the news in a statement, describing him as "a beautiful actor who loved acting and always gave his best."

The agency added: "Though we can no longer witness his performances, we will always be proud of him."

Big Title's CEO, Hwang Joo-hye, reflected on the loss: "The guy who dreamed of conquering China and traveling for a month has embarked on a very long journey. It was so sudden. I'm grateful for the short time I represented you."

Park's notable works include Goryeo-Khitan War, The Fabulous, The Law, Deborah, and Say It's Love.
