TV9 continues to innovate by showcasing not only experienced presenters but also fresh, charismatic talent as part of its 'TV9 Bulletin' team.
The latest additions are Fahiz Ariff, Syamira Nazir and Asrina Mohd, who bring enthusiasm and dedication to delivering quality news.
For Fahiz Ariff, whose full name is Muhammad Sahrul Fahiz Mat Ariff, journalism has been a passion since his school days.
A graduate in Media Communication from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Fahiz began his career with an internship at Bernama before transitioning to roles as a journalist, host and now a news anchor for the 'TV9 Bulletin'.
"Growing up, my family often watched the news, and I would mimic TV3 journalists like Karam Singh Walia and Haliza Hashim reporting from London.
"I'm grateful that my dream of becoming a broadcast journalist and news presenter has come true," he said.
Syamira Nazir, whose full name is Nor Syamira Izzati Mohd Nazir, took a slightly different route to the newsroom.
A graduate in Business Administration, Syamira started as a talkshow host on RTM and gained attention during her participation in the 2019 Dewi Remaja competition.
"During the Dewi Remaja auditions, I expressed my desire to become a newsreader. It's amazing that my dream is now a reality," said Syamira, who also hosts the programme 'Nasi Lemak Kopi 0'.
Looking ahead, she aspires to host her own programme and venture into radio presenting.
Unlike her counterparts, Asrina Mohd, whose full name is Nor Asrina Mohd Noor, overcame her introverted nature to step into broadcasting.
Initially shy and reserved, Asrina credits her university lecturers for encouraging her to break out of her comfort zone.
"It wasn't easy for me to start conversations or interact with people, but I've gradually adapted. My lecturers pushed me to change, and I worked on myself bit by bit," she said.
The 'TV9 Bulletin', which airs daily at 7pm, differentiates itself by focusing on community-driven stories and local issues that resonate deeply with Malaysian audiences.
With its fresh line-up of presenters, the programme promises a compelling mix of talent and relatable content.
