#SHOWBIZ: BlackPink's Rosé apologises to mother of 'Apt'-addicted toddler in viral video

KUALA LUMPUR: A toddler in South Korea has captured the internet's attention with his obsession with Apt, the hit collaboration between Blackpink's Rosé and Grammy winner Bruno Mars.

The chart-topping song has not only dominated global playlists but also found a unique fanbase among young children.

On Dec 24, Instagram user @closeto_u_ shared a humorous video showing her son energetically singing and dancing to the chorus of Apt in his room, according to CNA.

The footage, captured via CCTV, reveals the toddler joyfully chanting "Apateu, apateu" while his mother was fast asleep.

In the post, she joked, "Rose, Bruno Mars... Please save my son, who is addicted to Apt from the moment he wakes up until just before he falls asleep."

The video, which runs for over 40 seconds, left many viewers in stitches.

Some initially believed it was on a loop before realizing the boy's performance was a single, continuous sequence.

One commenter quipped, "I thought it had looped! Then I noticed the humidifier's steady flow. Why is this so funny?"

The clip has amassed over 15 million views and sparked a wave of amused reactions online.

However, the highlight came when Rosé herself noticed the post.

Taking to the comments, she humorously apologised, writing, "Oh my, I'm sorry, ma'am."
