#JOM! GO: Thailand's celebrated mosques

THAILAND is always well known for its hospitality and tolerance. Though the kingdom has the second largest Buddhist population in the world, after China, Thailand is still a multi-religious country that gives importance to tolerance for the sake of unity and peace.

Besides its majestic Buddhist temples or locally known as wat which literally means "a place of worship", Thailand is also home to beautiful mosques which mostly reside in the southern-most provinces that have large populations of Muslims.

Tourism Authority of Thailand, Kuala Lumpur lists the country's grand mosques that worth a visit. Each has its own majestic architectural designs and historic values.
