The Curve in the spirit of Raya

MUTIARA Space's neighbourhood mall the Curve has been awarded with "The Most Extensive Display of Raya Greeting Cards at the Curve, Mutiara Damansara" by the Malaysian Book of Records.

It displays more than 10,000 Raya greeting cards, encouraging both shoppers and the community to partake in reviving this traditional practice.

Taking inspiration from the Pejabat Pos Bukit Rotan, the ground floor of the Centre Court radiates the ambiance of a traditional village (kampong) with its own Pos Malaysia service counter, a variety of retro-themed shops, and a Raya Bazaar.

As part of these festivities, the Curve provides hampers filled with essential items, special Raya packets, and organises Raya performances for the nearby orphanage, Pusat Jagaan Kasih Harapan in Kota Damansara.

Boustead Properties Bhd chief operations officer Jazmi Kamarudin said the participation of Pos Malaysia and the Malaysian Book of Records adds significant value and meaning to the Raya festivities.

"It empowers us to recreate cherished memories and foster a profound sense of community spirit.

"Additionally the Curve is also committed to supporting local SMEs through our Raya Bazaar, many of which have evolved from humble kiosks to permanent tenants," he said.

Aligned with the Curve's commitment to sustainability, the Raya cards will be reused for future creative children's art workshops, collages, and various activities, ensuring they bring joy beyond the confines of the mall and foster connections in the festive spirit
