HARLEY-DAVIDSON Penang has emerged as winner of the Harley-Davidson Dealer of the Year, ahead of competing dealers from nine emerging markets, including the Philippines, South Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.
The award rewards excellence across all areas of dealership operations. The winning dealer was assessed based on key criteria such as customer satisfaction, commitment to training, sales, service, parts, accessories and Harley-Davidson apparel sales performance.

Meanwhile, at the same event, Harley-Davidson announced the launch of two new touring models in Malaysia: the Street Glide ST and Road Glide ST.
Both baggers have been elevated and restyled, combining the power of the Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine with new dark-and-bronze finishes.
Alongside the new baggers are other new 2022 models such as the Pan America and Sportster S launched in new colours.
The new Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine is a key highlight in the new models, offering the most displacement and torque available from a factory-installed, regular-production Harley-Davidson powertrain.
With 117 cubic inches of displacement, the engine with precision oil/air cooling produces up to 127 lb ft of torque at 3,750rpm.
It features a high-performance camshaft, a high-flow intake and high-performance exhaust tuned to maximise engine performance.
Dealer-installed Screamin' Eagle Performance Parts Stage Upgrades from Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories are available to boost engine performance even further.
The new Street Glide ST Model iconic batwing fairing features a splitstream vent to limit head buffeting and a low-profile dark windshield.
A low-profile tank console with side fuel fill and low-profile engine guard differentiates it from other touring models. It shares the stance of the Screamin Eagle Factory race bike, only that the Street Glide ST model is drenched in black.
Matte Dark Bronze finish on the Prodigy cast aluminium wheels, the colour band on the lower rocker box, timer cover medallion, intake medallion and the classic script tank graphic provide subtle contrast to the dark finishes. The two paint options are Vivid Black and Gunship Gray.
The front fender is trimmed for a sporty profile and lighter look and the standard-length saddlebags replace the extended bags on the Street Glide Special model. A heavy breather intake with forward-facing exposed air cleaner element is featured as well as a solo seat.
The emulsion-technology rear shock absorbers feature a single knob to hydraulically adjust pre-load for optimal ride and control. The 49mm forks with dual bending valve suspension technology deliver linear damping characteristics for a smooth ride. ReflexTM linked Brembo brakes with anti-lock braking system (ABS) come as standard.
Other features include the Boom!TM Box GTS infotainment system with colour touch screen, two fairing-mount speakers and hidden radio antenna and electronic cruise control. A Daymaker LED headlamp and smart security system with proximity-based, hands-free security fob are also standard.
The Road Glide ST model projects the attitude of the Screamin' Eagle Factory championship-winning race bike and backs it up with the Milwaukee-Eight 117 powertrain.
The shark nose fixed fairing features triple splitstream venting to limit head buffeting. The fairing is topped with a low-profile dark windshield and holds dual Daymaker LED headlamps. Everything else is shared with the Street Glide ST.
Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements by Harley-Davidson, a collection of technologies designed to assist the rider in maintaining the rider's intended path through a curve, are offered as an option for the models.
This technology package includes cornering electronically linked brakes, cornering-ABS, cornering-traction control with modes, drag torque slip control, vehicle hold control and tyre pressure monitoring.
As for the 2022 Sportster S model, it is now offered in White Sand Pearl and Mineral Green Metallic as well as Vivid Black. The new colour options for the 2022 Pan America 1250 Special model are Fastback Blue and White Sand.
Customers can view the new motorcycles up close at their nearest dealers and be one of the first to own the latest models, with the prices starting from RM85,900.
