MACHANG: Two construction workers were killed when earth collapsed and buried them in the hole they were digging in Pulai Chondong here.
A spokesman from the District Fire and Rescue station said the victims in the 2pm incident were a local man and a Myanmar national.
"The victims were digging the hole for water supply pipe project," he said.
The spokesman said the bodies of the victims had been recovered by firemen and sent to the hospital for a post mortem shortly after 3pm.
However, he said the identities of the victims had yet to be established.
